Japarov increases salaries of civil servants of Kyrgyzstan on August 1

President of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed the Decree on the increase of salaries of civil servants in Kyrgyzstan on August 1. The Decree On the payment terms of work of civil servants and municipal employees in Kyrgyzstan is to provide financial incentives and facilitate the improvement of quality of work of civil servants, the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reports.

This decision is aimed to attract highly qualified personnel and reduce corruption risks.

The press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reports on the increase of social benefits and salaries of social employees. Last year, a new salary level was established for military personnel and judicial and law enforcement employees.

The Presidential Administration sited an example of the increase of salaries of civil servants.

A salary of the head of the department of the local state administration (LSA) was 22,170 soms and increased to 41,319 soms. A growth rate is 186.4 percent. A salary of a leading specialist was 18,213.4 soms and increased to 35,940 soms. A growth rate is 197.3 percent.
