Kyrgyzstan and Poland expand partnerships in business and education

On July 22, Head of the 3rd political department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Bekbolotov and Director of the Eastern Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland Michal Grodzki held talks in Bishkek. The interlocutors discussed aspects of interstate relations in the business and education sectors, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reports.

They considered organising consultations of foreign ministers of the two states in Bishkek in September. It was noted that Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau, Chairman of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe may arrive in the capital of Kyrgyzstan for a working trip this autumn.

The interlocutors considered holding joint entrepreneur forums. Bekbolotov emphasised that Bishkek is interested in cooperation with Polish textile manufacturers.

The talks also focused on strengthening partnerships in the education sector, including scholarship programmes for university students from Kyrgyzstan.
