On July 13, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev congratulated employees and veterans of the service entrusted with ensuring the integrity of the country – the National Security Committee on its 30th anniversary. Congratulating them on their professional holiday, the Kazakh leader highly evaluated their great contribution to bringing peace to the country, the press office of Akorda reported.
The President expressed gratitude to security officers for their vigilance, prompt response to internal and external threats, reliable protection of the foundations of statehood and the constitutional order.
The President emphasised that Kazakhstan needs the special services that meet the spirit of the times and are able to respond effectively and adequately to any challenges.
“The security agencies are at the forefront to counter the growing threats of our time, and it is therefore very important to eliminate the threats before there are any prerequisites through intensifying analytical, awareness raising and intelligence activities,” the Kazakh leader emphasised.
Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev said the foreign policy doctrine of Kazakhstan aims to maintain security globally, or in the region, and it is therefore very important to promote fruitful cooperation with the special services of the allied states and strategic partners.
