Graduates of presidential schools of Uzbekistan meet with parliamentarians

More than 90 graduates of the presidential schools of the capital of Uzbekistan, Khiva, Nukus and Namangan visited the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and talked to parliamentarians, the press office of the Parliament of Uzbekistan reported.

Chairperson of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Youth, Culture and Sport Bakhtiyor Saifullayev, Director of the Agency for Presidential Educational Institutions Khilola Umarova and journalists took part in the meeting with the school leavers.

The school leavers learned about the legislative activities of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the procedure for discussing and adopting legal acts and the working regime of senators. The guests asked questions to parliamentarians during the meeting.

Chairperson of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva congratulated the school leavers on the successful completion of studies and wished them every success in their professional life.

This year, 92 children have graduated from 4 presidential schools throughout the country. More than half of these graduates have entered the New Uzbekistan University, and many graduates have received offers from such prestigious educational institutions as the University of Arizona, the University of Miami, the University of Bristol and the University of California.
