Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Berdiniyaz Myatiev paid an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. There he met with the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and his deputy responsible for international affairs. They discussed issues of further cooperation, as reported by the press office of the MFA of Turkmenistan.
During the talks with the head of the diplomatic department of Bahrain Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, attention was paid to the vectors of further interaction between the countries in politics, trade, economy, culture and the humanitarian sphere. Emphasis was also placed on the role of the neutral course of Turkmenistan in maintaining regional security.
During the meeting with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Bahrain Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the focus was made on the need to attract investments to Turkmenistan, hold business forums, and strengthen ties in the field of oil and gas.
Myatiev and the Arab official agreed to hold Culture Days on the territory of the two countries this year.
