Kerki airport offers free service to foreign companies

Kerki International Airport, located in Turkmenistan, has offered free ground handling to foreign aviation companies. Representatives of the air harbor said that the relevant servicing will be provided under a number of conditions. It was reported by the press office of the transport company.

In order to receive the specified service, foreign aircraft must refuel at least 15 tons of fuel. This applies exclusively to technical stops. The foreign company will need to pay for aviation kerosene and air navigation.

Kerki airport was put into operation on June 23 last year. Its capacity is 100 passengers per hour. The air harbor has a certificate of compliance with international standards issued by the Munich International Airport.

An artificial runway was laid on the territory of this facility. It is 2700 meters long and 60 meters wide. The airport also has four parking lots for helicopters.
