Options for graduates of foreign universities to return home discussed in Kyrgyzstan

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Azizbek Madmarov, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Nurbek Abdiev, Deputy Minister of Labour, Social Security and Migration Zhanyl Alybayeva and other cabinet members reported on the measures taken to protect the rights of migrant workers from Kyrgyzstan at the parliamentary session, the press office of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan reports.

Talking about a large outflow of citizens from Kyrgyzstan, particularly from the border regions, parliamentarian Chyngyz Azhibaev highlighted the need for all branches of power to combine efforts of and take comprehensive measures to attract investment, create new jobs and improve the welfare of local populations.

Talking about the lack of qualified personnel in the public administration system, one of the parliamentarians underlined the need to offer free education at foreign universities to 50 candidates from among the best students, as initiated by President Sadyr Japarov.

The importance of creating favourable conditions for graduates of major foreign universities to return to Kyrgyzstan was emphasised.
