Mirziyoyev visits Uzbekistan-Korea Vocational Training Centre in Fergana

On May 13, the President of Uzbekistan visited the Vocational Training Centre that has opened recently in Fergana in cooperation with Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) during his visit to Fergana Region. Talking to the students of the Centre, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said it is never too late to study and learn new things. That they came to the Centre and are learning a new profession shows that they are not indifferent to their future, the press office of the President of Uzbekistan reported to CentralAsia.news.

The Training Centre trains specialists in sewing, hairdressing, cosmetology, electronics, information technology and automotive industry. Training courses are delivered in accordance with the Korea’s training programmes, and 5 trainers from South Korea work at the Centre. Currently, 240 students attend training courses.

Mirziyoyev learned about the training process and talked to the Korean mentors and thanked them for their work.

The new Centre in Ferghana is ready to admit everyone willing to study from other regions of the Fergana Valley. A hostel for students from other regions is built on the territory of the Training Centre.
