Kyrgyz citizens to freely enter Russia from May 16

On May 5, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic announced that Russia will lift restrictions for entry of Kyrgyz citizens to Russia and for exit of Russian citizens to Kyrgyzstan from May 16, 2022, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.

As was reported, citizens of Kyrgyzstan can travel to Russia on land, and citizens of Russian can travel to Kyrgyzstan, including through Kazakhstan. Travellers entering Russia on land are not required to show a negative PCR test result.

The RF Government has made this decision as the epidemiological situation improves. This issue was discussed at the 23rd meeting of the Kyrgyzstan-Russia Intergovernmental Commission, which took place in Moscow on April 14.

The RF Task Force decided to lift restrictions on regular and charter flights from the airports of Russia, which are open to international travel, to Ecuador from May 16. Also, the airports of Anadyr, Blagoveshchensk, Bratsk, Kurgan, Magas, Ostafyevo, Petrozavodsk, Sabetta, Saransk, Simferopol, Ulyanovsk, Cheboksary, Elista and Yaroslavl will be open to international travel.
