On April 29, the Center of Public Health and Nutrition of Turkmenistan hosted a round table dedicated to the use of new software focused on recording vaccination data. The event was held on the occasion of the European Immunization Week 2022. It was reported by the electronic newspaper «Golden Age».
The round table was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Health, the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service, country offices of the World Health Organization and UNICEF.
They discussed the possibilities of VacBase, the updated cloud software for recording vaccination data and the movement of medicines between medical institutions. The program is introduced into the immunization system of Turkmenistan. It is used at the national, regional and city levels.
The participants of the event also exchanged views on the features of the digital platform «The e-register of people vaccinated against COVID-19». Particular attention was paid to the monitoring system for patients infected with parenteral hepatitis.
New electronic systems are introduced into the Turkmen healthcare system with the support of the World Health Organization.
