Head of the Committee on International Affairs, Defence, Security and Migration of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov and a parliamentarian Nurlanbek Azygaliev met with Ambassador of Turkey to Kyrgyzstan Ahmet Sadik Dogan. An exchange of views on a wide range of issues on the agenda of Kyrgyzstan-Turkey cooperation took place during the meeting, the press office of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan reports.
The parties expressed mutual interest in promoting joint projects in the trade, economic and investment sectors, in particular in the power, mining, processing, tourism and transport industries, agriculture, healthcare and education.
Aidarbekov noted that the Kyrgyz side attaches particular importance to intensifying strategic and fraternal relations with Turkey.
The Ambassador said Turkey is keenly interested in boosting Kyrgyzstan-Turkey strategic partnerships.
The parties discussed preparations for the IV World Nomad Games, which will take place in Turkey in September-October this year.
