On April 20, the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition “Tajikistan – the Land of Mountain Peaks and Golden Rivers” took place at the Icheri Sheher Museum Centre in Baku. The exhibition was organised by the Embassy of Tajikistan, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reported.
The exhibition will run until April 25. It lets visitors learn about the opportunities and beauties of the country, rich culture, art and crafts of the Tajik people, economic development and tourism potential of Tajikistan.
Ambassador of Tajikistan Rustam Soli, representatives of the Tajikistan-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, employees of diplomatic departments, heads of foreign policy missions, businessmen and investors took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
Soli emphasised that the event aims primarily to give impetus to cooperation between the states and nations of the region.
The exhibition marks the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan.
