Kazakhstan and Belarus expand bilateral flight schedule

Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan Kairbek Uskenbayev discussed the progress in bilateral cooperation in the priority spheres, including civil aviation, with Ambassador of Belarus in the Republic of Kazakhstan Pavel Utyupin during a working meeting, the press office of the Ministry reported.

A lively exchange of views focused on enhancing cooperation in the machine building industry, developing and implementing joint investment projects in the construction sector and optimising joint activities in the military-industrial complex.

The interlocutors agreed on the organisational issues of bilateral meetings on the issues of building up partnerships in industry, bilateral trade and participation in the international road transport schemes.

The talks focused on increasing the number of flights between the air harbours of Minsk, Nur-Sultan and Almaty.

The Minister emphasised that relations between the two states have a substantial potential that must be utilised actively.
