On April 14, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an off-site government meeting in the Balkan province. Deputy head of the Halk Maslakhaty Kasymguly Babayev reported on the modernization of the legal framework of the state. Attention was paid to the importance of strengthening law and order in the country. It was reported by the news agency «Turkmenistan today».
Berdimuhamedov instructed Babayev to intensify propaganda activities to explain to residents the idea of the progressive reforms of the new epoch, which are aimed at making Turkmenistan an even more prosperous country and increasing the well-being of citizens.
The president drew attention to the fact that it is worth focusing on representatives of the younger generation.
Deputy Chairman of the Halk Maslatahy noted that members of both chambers of the local parliament are now working on draft laws aimed at expanding the social protection of Turkmen citizens, supporting families and the labor sector. Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of compliance of the legal acts with the demands of modern times.
