Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tajikistan Usmonali Usmonzoda reviewed the progress of construction work on the schools in Dushanbe, Kulyab, Khujand, Bokhtar and Tursunzade during the meeting of the Republican Committee, the press office of the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan reports.
5 Russian-language schools will be built and put into operation in Tajikistan within 3 years in the framework of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and the Russian Federation in the spheres of education and science.
Deputies of the Parliament of Tajikistan approved the Agreement between the Governments of the two countries on the construction and material and technical support of Russian-language educational institutions on January 15.
As was reported, the new educational institutions, the construction of which will be financed by the RF Government, will require over 400 highly qualified teachers with excellent knowledge of the Russian language.
Russia allocated 6 billion rubles - 1.2 billion for the construction of each school.
