On April 1, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon congratulated his compatriots on the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan. In his address, the President calls on citizens to follow the rules of visiting the mosques to perform religious rites during the month of Ramadan, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reports.
The President also noted that this year the month of has fallen on the start of the spring sowing campaign.
“This means that we must effectively use each fine spring day and intensify sowing and other agricultural activities,” Rahmon added.
He noted that farmers and every family should attach great importance to the efficient use of land to ensure the abundance of agricultural commodities in consumer markets.
Rahmon also noted that citizens have become convinced of the effectiveness of food reserves during the pandemic.
He noted that this should be given attention and measures should be taken so that citizens of the country would avoid any difficulties and would not suffer from food shortages or food price surges.
