On March 24, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov solemnly opened the next stage of the Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov cottage complex of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the north of the capital. It consists of two-story 5-room cottages. It was reported by the state news agency «Turkmenistan today».
The houses are located in the Choganly residential area, Bagtyyarlyk district. They are built for law enforcement officers. Before visiting one of these cottages, Berdimuhamedov walked along the street where he took a look at the performances of artists and horse riders, women cooking pishme on trestle beds, children playing alchiks (Chuko Bones), young men pulling the rope, traditional Turkmen wrestling Goresh. The song and musical group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs performed dances.
After that, Berdimuhamedov visited the museum of his grandfather, Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov, which opened back in November 2020. There are documents, photographs (including photos of cars and motorcycles), poems of a veteran of the internal affairs bodies.
Then the president of Turkmenistan visited one of the cottages, where Yazmyrat Chuliyev, the driver of the Ashgabat police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and his big family live. The leader of the country asked how comfortable the house is.
The cottage consists of a big entrance hall, a large living room, bedrooms with separate dressing rooms and bathrooms, a kitchen-dining room with built-in furniture and modern appliances, as well as a utility room, storerooms. High-quality local materials were used during the construction of the facility. The house has a plot of eight acres. This space is enough for gardening.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov talked to the children. They recited poems praising the «Revival of a new era of a powerful state». The family gave the president the traditional gift «toý düwünçek». He, in turn, gave them TV, dolls (for girls), tablets and a toy car (for boys). After that, the head of the state was photographed with them.
Berdimuhamedov also visited the exposition of fruits, vegetables and food products grown and produced at the subsidiary farms of law enforcement agencies.
