On March 11, the business forum was held at the initiative of the Embassy of Tajikistan to the People’s Republic of China in cooperation with China Overseas Development Association in China. About 150 participants attended the event, some of them participated online, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reported.
The forum mainly aimed to expand interstate relations in the trade, economic and investment sectors. Emphasis was placed on the importance of implementing the agreements that were reached during the talks between President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of China Xi Jinping.
Those speaking at the forum noted that Tajikistan had created an enabling operating environment for foreign companies, in particular in the field of industrialization.
The companies presented their projects at the forum. Entrepreneurs shared their views on a number of issues. The organisers of the forum included the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management of Tajikistan.
