Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to the Netherlands Erkinkhon Rahmatullozoda held meetings in a number of cities in this country. The main theme under discussion was the upcoming conference on water issues in Dushanbe, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reported on February 28.
The diplomat met with Political Director at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Veronique Dockendorf. The interlocutors discussed the latest water diplomacy initiatives of Dushanbe and the ongoing activities in this sphere.
Rahmatullozoda met with Director for Inclusive Green Growth at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands Rene van Hell in the Hague. They discussed key aspects of partnerships between the two countries on the water agenda and highlighted the importance of the upcoming Dushanbe Water Decade Conference.
The Ambassador of Tajikistan met with Rector of the Delft Institute for Water Education Eddy Moors in Delft. The Professor said he would take part in the above-mentioned conference.
The Dushanbe Water Decade Conference will be held in June this year.
