On the occasion of International Women’s Day, women of Turkmenistan will traditionally receive money gifts on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The order was signed by the leader of the country at an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on February 25. It was reported by «Turkmenistan today».
According to the document, next week, on March 1-6, the women will receive 60 manats (over 17 US dollars) in a solemn atmosphere.
As part of the order, employees of state and private enterprises, institutions, companies, pensioners, social benefit recipients, school, kindergarten, college and university students, students of courses at the Civil Service Academy under the President of Turkmenistan will receive money on the occasion of March 8.
The draft decree on giving gifts to the women was developed and presented by Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic and Banking Affairs, and International Financial Organizations, presidential candidate of Turkmenistan, at a government meeting.
