Kazakhstan and the RF preserve dynamics of business activity despite external challenges

On February 25, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev met with Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, who arrived in Kazakhstan to participate in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, the press office of Akorda reported to CentralAsia.news.

The interlocutors focused on further building up strategic partnerships between Kazakhstan and Russia. Its key priorities include enhanced cooperation in the economic and investment sectors, as well as interaction on the platform of the Eurasian Economic Union.

The emphasis was placed on joint efforts to avoid weakening bilateral commodity turnover against the backdrop of the current situation in Ukraine and international sanctions against Russia.

As was reported, the leader of Kazakhstan highlighted the importance of coherent and well-coordinated work of the RF Government with the new Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan during his previous meeting with the RF Prime Minister, promising to significantly facilitate all effective endeavours.
