This year marks the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United States of America. On this occasion, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov sent a telegram of congratulations to US Secretary of State Antony John Blinken, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reported.
In particular, the message says Uzbekistan-US cooperation has demonstrated a qualitatively new level of development over the past two years in such areas as politics, economics, legislation and cultural exchange. The emphasis was placed on the adoption of the decision to hold the Strategic Partnership Dialogue that had replaced the annual consultation mechanism and its first fruitful meeting in Tashkent in 2021.
Uzbekistan-US cooperation continues to develop fruitfully in international and regional formats, including on the C5+ platform.
In his response to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Antony Blinken commended ongoing economic and political reforms in Uzbekistan, as well as the role of Uzbekistan in strengthening the C5 + platform. The US Secretary of State noted that the American side was ready to support Uzbekistan in its efforts to implement the new state building strategy.
