Japarov proposes economic recovery projects to his counterparts from Central Asia and India

On January 27, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov took part in the first India-Central Asia Summit in virtual format. It should be noted that 2022 marks the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and the Central Asian states, the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reports.

The Summit focused on key aspects of political cooperation and regional security, as well as further trade and economic cooperation and cultural and humanitarian relations between the Central Asian states and India.

The President of Kyrgyzstan expressed readiness to propose the projects that would help increase the competitiveness of national economies and transport and transit connectivity of the Central Asian states and India.

The leader of Kyrgyzstan emphasised the possibilities of cooperation with India in the spheres of modern information and communication technologies and digital transformation, inviting to consider the existing opportunities for the implementation of joint projects in the public and private sectors.

The participants in the Summitt adopted the Delhi Declaration.
