On January 26, Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida sent a congratulations message to President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov on the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The Prime Minister wished good health and every success in his activities to Japarov and the well-being to the people of Kyrgyzstan, the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reports.
Since the establishment of diplomatic relations after gaining independence by Kyrgyzstan, our states have built good relations. I would like to express the hope that the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations this year will contribute to promoting relations with the Kyrgyz Republic and the people of Kyrgyzstan, the message says.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev and Ambassador of Japan to Kyrgyzstan Shigeki Maeda exchanged congratulations.
The officials highly evaluated the progress of political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Japan achieved over the past three decades.
The parties expressed readiness to continue cooperation to build up bilateral relations.
