A competition of scientific works among representatives of the younger generation started in Turkmenistan. The organizers of the event are the Academy of Sciences and the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization. All young citizens who like science can take part in the competition. It was reported by the online newspaper «Golden Age» on January 22.
The event was established by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The competition is held every year. Its main goal is to expand the potential of the scientific sphere, as well as to form a new generation of scientists.
Employees of the Academy of Sciences, research institutes, industrial associations, specialized enterprises, college and school students, as well as young representatives of any profession who are interested in science can take part in the intellectual competition.
Scientific work can be dedicated to any topic that is in demand today. The results of the competition will be summed up on the Day of Science, June 12.
Last year over 1,000 young Turkmen citizens took part in the state contest.
