Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Iran Turdakun Sadikov met with General Director of Iran’s Varesh Airlines Reza Hadadian. The interlocutors focused on expanding tourism cooperation between the two countries, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Sydykov proposed to increase the number of flights between Kyrgyzstan and Iran by opening a direct flight between the capitals of the two countries.
With the aim to increase the influx of tourists from Iran to Kyrgyzstan, he proposed to prepare travel packages in collaboration with Kyrgyz tour operators and expand the campaign on Kyrgyzstan’s tourism potential in the media and social networks of Iran.
The Varesh Airlines General Director supported the proposals of the Kyrgyz side and informed about his intention to open an office in Bishkek in the near future.
Following the meeting, the interlocutors agreed to hold a tourism forum in Tehran, at which Kyrgyzstan would present its tourism potential.
