Prime Minister of Kazakhstan discusses partnership strategy with counterpart from Azerbaijan

On January 13, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov and Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Idayat oglu Asadov had a telephone conversation. The talks focused on maintaining and boosting bilateral cooperation, the press office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported.

Asadov wished Smailov great achievements in his political and state activities at the responsible post and expressed deep condolences to the families of those who died during the recent tragic events, as well as support for the people of the Republic in this difficult period.

The Prime Minister of Azerbaijan noted that Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are reliable strategic partners. The two countries expand bilateral contacts through fostering a constructive political dialogue and interact in a wide range of bilateral relations. This cooperation is driven by the intention to enhance mutually beneficial economic ties, Asadov said.

The Prime Minister of Azerbaijan invited his Kazakh counterpart to visit the country at any convenient time.

2022 marks the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
