National Defence Management Centre opens in Tashkent

On January 13, President of Uzbekistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in the opening ceremony of the National Defence Management Centre, the press office of the President of Uzbekistan reports.

President Mirziyoyev visited the office premises of the Centre to see the working conditions and talked to representatives of the Ministry of Defence.

The National Centre at the Ministry of Defence of Uzbekistan will control the activities of law enforcement agencies, including real-time monitoring of the airspace, military exercises on the training grounds, combat training at military units, and control over the activities of subdivisions through network trunks.

The Centre will also monitor the modernization of the Armed Forces.

When visiting the National Defence Management Centre, President Mirziyoyev held an expanded meeting of the Security Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan, during which the work done by the Armed Forces in 2021 was evaluated and the future tasks were identified.
