On January 13, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the Balkan province, the west of the country. There he visited the Uzynada oil and gas field, which is located in the Esenguly district. It was reported by the state news agency «Turkmenistan today».
Berdimuhamedov landed in a helicopter in a specially designated area near the field. The head of the state got acquainted with the new equipment used in drilling and maintenance.
The President was provided with information on the development of new deposits in the western part of Turkmenistan. Deputy Prime Minister Shahym Abdrahmanov showed Berdimuhamedov oil samples from newly discovered deposits in the Uzynada and Demirgazyk goturdepe areas.
Having carefully examined the oil products, the leader of the country noted that within the framework of the development of deposits, officials must focus on the use of advanced technologies, as well as on the training of highly qualified specialists.
