President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a telegram of congratulations on the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries to his Iranian counterpart Sayyid Ebrahim Raisi. He noted that the two states had reached a high level of constructive relations during the period, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reported.
“I am sure that with firm determination and through sincere joint efforts of the two sides, we will be able to enrich bilateral relations with points of historical and cultural contacts in the supreme interests of our peoples,” Rahmon said.
The President of Tajikistan emphasised that over the past 30 years, Dushanbe and Tehran had been working out practical measures to achieve a high level of constructive cooperation, searching for new ways to strengthen multifaceted interaction and creating fruitful prospects for expanding it.
Rahmon added that Tajikistan had been always championing progressive development of relations with Iran in various fields in the spirit of cooperation, mutual understanding and trust.
He expressed hope that the anniversary of diplomatic relations together with its new achievements would make bilateral partnerships brighter. Rahmon also wished good health and wellbeing to Raisi and peace, stability and prosperity to the friendly people of Iran.
