On January 3, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev received a telegram of congratulations from President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping on the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The Chinese leader wished the prosperity, happiness and well-being to Tokayev and all citizens of Kazakhstan, the press office of Akorda reported to CentralAsia.news.
“China and Kazakhstan are the friendly neighbours and permanent comprehensive strategic partners. Over the 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, a high level of dialogue between the countries has been maintained, with deepening political mutual trust. Cooperation in the joint implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative has brought tangible benefits. The Chinese side consistently supports the path of development of Kazakhstan and sincerely wishes great success,” Xi wrote in his message.
The President of the People's Republic of China said China attaches great importance to expanding bilateral ties on various aspects and expressed readiness to work further towards jointly bringing multifaceted strategic interaction to a new level for the benefit of the two states and their peoples.
