Uzbekistan rises several spots in global rankings

On December 23, the ratings given to Uzbekistan by a number of global rating agencies were discussed during an online meeting chaired by Speaker of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and Chairman of the Republican Council for work with international rankings and indices Tanzila Narbaeva, the press office of the Senate reported.

According to data received, in 2021, Uzbekistan has risen several spots in the rankings of a number of rating agencies, including the Statistical Capacity Score, the Global Innovation Index and the Competitive Industrial Performance Index.

Uzbekistan has risen 14 spots in the Rule of Law Index, ranking among the top three countries.

Uzbekistan has risen 7 pots in the Global Innovation Index, ranking 86th out of 132 countries. Uzbekistan has risen from the 59th place to 29th in the World Giving Index, ranking among the top thirty countries.

Uzbekistan ranks 88th out of 156 countries in the rankings, reflecting the progress with reforms to encourage entrepreneurship, improve the local business environment and reduce the tax burden.
