On December 18, in the capital of Turkmenistan, the results of the youth music competition «Star of the Year — 2021» were summed up. Begench Charyyev has become the winner of the competition and the owner of the Grand Prix. He received the Ýylyň parlak ýyldyzy cup and cash prize, as reported by «Turkmenistan Today».
In total, ten singers got into the finals. These are the singers who received the most votes from TV viewers and radio listeners. The jury consisted of professional musicians and vocalists. The event was held in the studio of the TV and radio broadcasting center.
The contestants performed two songs, one of which was sung without music. It was done to assess the purity and beauty of the voice, the ability to control it and interact with the audience. The musical event lasted for several hours. According to the results of SMS voting, Begench Charyev has become the owner of the Grand Prix.
The first three places were taken by young singers Rustem Khallyyev, Bahar Annayeva and Bayramhan Saparov. The participants of the contest noted that they will try to do everything possible to expand the potential of the national musical art and that will be done as a thank to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for his care about the development of creativity in the country.
