On December 17, the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a regular government meeting. He noted the importance of ensuring the prosperous life of local citizens. The head of the state directed to check the prices of goods on the eve of the New Year. It was reported by «Turkmenistan Today».
The leader of the country instructed Deputy Prime Minister for Economic and Financial Affairs Serdar Berdimuhamedov to visit the regions and check the implementation of the state agricultural program, as well as programs on expanding import substitution and export of products.
Berdimuhamedov also directed the official to check the prices of goods in stores and markets on the eve of the New Year. In addition, Serdar Berdimuhamedov will have to analyze unresolved issues in the villages and prepare proposals for their solution.
The President stressed that a report on the implementation of the instructions should be presented at the next government meeting. The head of the state noted the importance of ensuring food abundance in the country.
