On December 15, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov said the state policy in the next 5 years would be aimed at building new Kyrgyzstan and enhancing the trust and unity of its citizens in his speech at the state reception in honour of the 30th anniversary of independence, the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reports.
The President said the adoption of the historical document – the Declaration of State Sovereignty by the Supreme Council of Kyrgyzstan on December 15 had become a long-awaited and significant event for the people of Kyrgyzstan.
Japarov emphasised that he felt a great responsibility to citizens of Kyrgyzstan for their standard of living.
The President also spoke about the foreign policy, the priority in which would be cooperation with neighbouring countries and strategic partners – Russia, Turkey and China.
The guests exchanged views and visited the Kyrgyz State Historical Museum.
The ex-Presidents Roza Otunbayeva and Sooronbai Jeenbekov attended the reception.
