On December 15, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev addressed the people of the country from the rostrum of the solemn meeting. In his speech, he highlighted the crucial historical stages of national statehood, enormous achievements and new objectives, the press office of the President of Kazakhstan reported.
The President emphasised that the past 30 years had become an epoch of heroic victories over great difficulties and hardest trials. However, this period is inscribed in the chronicle of the country as a period of creation, which became fateful in the history of the Kazakh people. In this regard, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Elbasy – Nursultan Nazarbayev for his monumental activities on building independent Kazakhstan.
Addressing his sincere gratitude to the multinational Kazakh society, the President said workers of all spheres and professions, all the people of Kazakhstan had been working for the success of the state and made a huge contribution to the prosperity of the Motherland.
Speaking about the prospects, the President noted that the country was facing the goals of building the 21st century economy. Modern technologies, artificial intelligence, constructive work and creative initiative will lay the foundation of this economy. The youth was to play a decisive role in achieving these goals, the President said.
