On December 13, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev took part in the award ceremony during the festive events honouring the main holiday of the country – the 30th anniversary of independence and spoke about the crucial components of the great accomplishments of the country, the press office of Akorda reported.
The President emphasised that new Kazakhstan, representing a truly powerful influential state with a strong economy, was created in a short historical period. This had become possible particularly through the far-sighted policy of Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev and the dedicated work of the people of Kazakhstan, the leader of Kazakhstan said.
Noting that the country with significant human capital was able to overcome any difficulties, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev stressed that the achievements gained over 30 years of independent development were the common victory of Kazakh society.
In this context, the President focused on the modern history of the country and the contemporary strategy for the continuous improvement of the quality of life of Kazakh society. He noted that new ambitious reforms had been initiated, the projects for the modernization of the economy and social policy had been launched and domestic entrepreneurship was supported during the year of the 30th anniversary of independence despite the pandemic.
The President said he had approved the national projects aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the country and reforming the social and political spheres.
