Tokayev awards best businesses of Kazakhstan

On December 7, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev addressed local businesses at the Altyn Sapa and Paryz President’s Prize award ceremony. The ceremony was held online, the press office of Akorda reported to CentralAsia.news.

The leader of Kazakhstan emphasised that an enabling business environment had been created and a galaxy of entrepreneurs meeting modern requirements had been brought up in Kazakhstan over 30 years of independence. They were the main driving force of Kazakh economy, the President said.

The President noted the commitment of businesses of Kazakhstan and international representative offices conducting business in the country to the principles of social responsibility. In this context, the President cited as an example voluntary assistance to the health sector during the pandemic. He also noted that the participants in the Paryz contest had contributed 20 billion tenge to social projects and charities and created 7,000 new jobs.

The President expressed sincere gratitude to entrepreneurs for supporting the strategy aimed at achieving greater prosperity for the country. He announced the winners and warmly congratulated them, expressing the hope that the well-deserved recognition of the Motherland would give them a powerful incentive to work further for the benefit of Kazakhstan.
