Anti-crisis program for 2022 approved in Turkmenistan

On December 3, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov chaired an expanded meeting of the government. During the event, a draft resolution on the approval of the anti-crisis program for 2022 was submitted to the leader of the country for consideration, as reported by «Turkmenistan Today».

The program is focused on reducing the impact of uncertainties in the world economy on the national economy. The project is designed to ensure the stable development of the relevant area in the Central Asian country over the next year.

The corresponding document defines the tasks to expand the potential of production facilities, develop transport and logistics systems, and fully use digital technologies. Within the framework of the program, the emphasis will be placed on supporting entrepreneurship, in particular small and medium-sized businesses, more actively attracting foreign investment, and increasing the social security of citizens.

Berdimuhamedov signed a relevant decree and instructed Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Berdimuhamedov to keep the implementation of the program under strict control.
