On November 30, the forum entitled “Elbasy zhane tauelsizdik: kuatty kauinsizdik – kuatty Kazakstan” was held to mark the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the National Defence University. The participants in the event discussed the major areas of state activity of Nursutan Nazarbayev to strengthen Kazakhstan’s defence capability, the press office of the Ministry of Defence of Kazakhstan reported to CentralAsia.news.
“The first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Nursutan Nazarbayev has had a great influence on the revival of Kazakhstan statehood and its public, political, social and economic life,” Deputy Minister lieutenant-general Sultan Kamaletdinov said.
A number of speakers presented the reports on the importance of Nazarbayev and his invariable role in strengthening national security, promoting independence and supporting the trajectory of sustainable and consistent development of the Republic.
It was noted that the need to study comprehensively Elbasy’s personality in the military and political spheres, conduct analysis of his historically important role in maintaining military security of the country was increasing in modern conditions.
