Turkmenistan and India to strengthen cooperation in state studies

As part of the fourth week of the celebration of Amrit Mahotsav (the 75th anniversary of India’s independence), the embassy of India organized a video conference for the staff of the Parliamentary Research and Training Institute for Democracies of India (PRIDE) and the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan. It was reported by the press office of the diplomatic corps on November 30.

The event was attended by experts on constitution and parliamentary traditions, director of PRIDE Alpana Tripathi, expert faculty S.K. Sharma, Director of the Institute of Law of Turkmenistan Yagmyr Nuryyev and research scholars from Ashgabat.

They discussed possible avenues of bilateral cooperation in training and exchange of information.

It must be added that in January this year, Indian Ambassador Vidhu Pithambaran Nair held talks with the rectors of the International University for Humanities and Development of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly. The parties discussed partnership in the field of studying of the Turkmen students in India.
