Tajikistan and Poland hold business forum on November 25

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan and the Chamber of Commerce of Poland will hold a business forum on November 25 via video conference due to the coronavirus pandemic. The event will be aimed at boosting trade and investment cooperation, the press office of the Embassy of Tajikistan to Poland reported.

The event will bring together businessmen who are interested in establishing and expanding business contacts. The priority areas of partnerships include the agricultural, textile, energy and tourism sectors. They also include the food industry and green technologies.

The forum will focus on the national economic strategy and investment opportunities of Tajikistan and incentives provided to foreign entrepreneurs in the country. It will also provide the platform for the next meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.

With the view to implementing the industrialisation strategy, the Central Asian republic intends to adopt Poland’s technologies to process products and natural resources in Tajikistan.
