President of Kazakhstan visits Centre for Creative Technologies in Almaty

On November 19, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev visited the educational innovation platform Alatau Creative Hub during his working trip to the southern capital, the press office of the President of Kazakhstan reported.

The large urban facility opened as part of the City without Suburbs infrastructure concept in December last year. The new centre offers the platforms for training young people in programming basics, developing creative industries, improving creative potential and virtual art. In total, the educational centre has 25 free training sections in different spheres of activity.

The President visited a library, a children’s playroom, a vocal studio, IT laboratories, a multimedia block and electronics technology and robotics halls. He talked to young visitors and mentors of the centre, had a photo for memory taken and wished them every success in the future.

The presentations on the use of digital technologies and creative industries were made for Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev at the centre.
