President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov paid an official visit to Turkmenbashi on November 13. There, at the request of a number of officials, he got acquainted with the drawings of a new multidisciplinary hospital for 400 beds, the construction of which is at the final stage. It was reported by the state news agency «Turkmenistan Today» on November 14.
The medical facility, located on the shore of the Caspian Sea, has 7 floors and 400 beds. It will have specialists for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of various diseases.
The medical complex will have modern foreign equipment. The hospital will include a centralized laboratory and a blood bank.
After the visit to the hospital Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting. He noted that medical staff should get relevant qualifications.
On November 10, Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening ceremony of a new infectious diseases hospital. On the same day, a clinic with 50 stationary and 30 outpatient beds was solemnly opened in the Magtymguly etrap, Balkan province.
