The President of Tajikistan touched upon this theme in his congratulations message on the Police Day of Tajikistan.
On November 9, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon congratulated employees of internal affairs bodies on the Police Day of Tajikistan. He reminded about the hundreds of law enforcement officers who had sacrificed their lives to ensure peace and stability in the country, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reported.
Rahmon emphasised that these deaths should not be forgotten, and these feats should be given the highest honours. The President said police officers had sacrificed their lives in 1991-2021.
The President noted that the celebration of the 30th anniversary of independence of the Republic in absolute conditions of peace and stability would have been impossible without the perseverance, vigilance, high sense of responsibility, devotion and patriotism of police officers.
The leader of Tajikistan said the history of Tajikistan had many pages of feats, dedication, courage and bravery of police officers and employees and veterans of internal affairs bodies. He wished them every success and achievements in performing their “glorious mission”.
