During the meeting, the Secretary of State of Slovenia highly evaluated the organization of the EU – Central Asia Economic Forum in Bishkek.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Nuran Niyazaliev met with State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia Stanislav Rascan on the sidelines of the First EU-CA economic forum in Bishkek. The parties discussed the expansion and enhancement of mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The interlocutors discussed key issues related to further enhancement of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Niyazaliev focused on the significant untapped potential of trade and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Slovenia and proposed to intensify efforts in this direction.
The Slovenian side emphasised that it was ready to further strengthen Kyrgyz-Slovenian economic contacts.
Among other issues, the officials discussed Kyrgyzstan-Slovenia collaboration within the international organisations.
