Private sectors of Tajikistan and Austria expand investment partnerships

This statement was made during a meeting of representatives of more than 60 companies from the two countries.

On November 6, an official meeting of the business delegations from Tajikistan and Austria took place in Dushanbe. The parties exchanged views on the expansion of investment cooperation and the enhancement of trade and economic contacts, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reported.

The government officials, including Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sharaf Sheralizoda, attended the event. He emphasised that the private sectors of the two countries should boost cooperation in the fields of renewable energy, green economy, industry, digitalization, modern technologies, pharmaceuticals and tourism.

The participants highlighted the importance of conducting forums of investors and entrepreneurs and exhibitions as tools for unleashing the potential of interaction between the private sectors.

In total, over 60 companies took part in the event. Following the meeting, the Tajik and Austrian sides expressed their readiness to make the necessary efforts to promote mutually beneficial business partnership.
