This topic was raised at the forum “Health as an important factor of social protection”. Government officials, scientists and employees of research centres attended the forum.

According to Ziyoi, the epidemiological situation in Tajikistan had not been fully stabilized over the past two years; a similar trend was observed in many other states. The Central Asian republic was experiencing a shortage of virologists, epidemiologists, immunologists and resuscitators, the Director at the Centre for Strategic Studies added.
