Shavkat Mirziyoyev wins presidential elections in the Republic of Uzbekistan

According to the results, Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev won the presidential elections in the Republic, having received 80.1% of electoral votes.

On October 25, the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan announced the preliminary results of the presidential elections in Uzbekistan. According to the results, Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev won the presidential elections in the Republic, having received 80.1% of electoral votes, the press office of the President of Uzbekistan reports.

Significant work has been done under the leadership of Shavkat Mirziyoyev over the past 5 years. In accordance with the Action Strategy of Uzbekistan for 2017-2021, the crucial administrative, legal and economic reforms have been implemented in the five main areas of development.

During this period, the national economy rose by 24%, industry – by 34%, exports – by 1.5 times and foreign investments – by 3 times. Uzbekistan’s GDP amounted to US$ 60 billion. Broad opportunities to promote the regions and develop the industry and service sector have been initiated.

“The trust of our great people is a great happiness for me! I would like to express my deep gratitude to all my Party members, our young men and women, dear mothers and fathers for placing the considerable trust and support in me. Your trust makes me stronger. At the same time, I feel with all my heart this huge responsibility,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
