Kazakhstan intends to see Saudi companies in its projects

The President referred to a number of agreements reached during a conversation with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.

On October 19, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev held a meeting with Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdullah Al al-Sheikh. The interlocutors discussed the prospects for interaction between the two friendly states, the press office of the President of Kazakhstan reported.

The President emphasised that Saudi Arabia was one of the first Arab countries to recognise the sovereignty of the Republic. The President also stressed that Saudi Arabia was a reliable ally of Kazakhstan in the Muslim world. The President recalled that a number of significant agreements had been reached during a telephone conversation with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud and a meeting with Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih.

In this regard, the interlocutors exchanged views on the further development of trade and economic cooperation. In this context, the President called on Arab companies, given their expertise and a world market situation, to take active part in implementing industrial projects in Kazakhstan.

The guest expressed gratitude to the President for the meeting. He said he had held very useful meetings at the parliamentary level in friendly Kazakhstan, noting that they would certainly give impetus to bring the two states closer together.
